WELCOME TO T123
“Love thy neighbor as thyself” – Matthew 22:39
Transition 123 INC has been committed for over 10 years in providing a safe and clean environment for women and their children who have experienced homelessness as a result of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. We believe in housing first and all other resources and supportive services shall follow. Our goal is to empower women who have suffered from domestic violence and/or sexual assault, by providing them with residential services to include life skills for the purpose of obtaining sustainability and a independent lifestyle.
Transition 123 Inc. is a 501(C)(3) non-profit Christian Based organization that believes in transformation. Our mission is to be a catalyst in the lives of disenfranchised women to move them to a plateau of success in every aspect of their lives. Since 2004 Transition 123 has been providing services to homeless and/or domestically abused women and their children in the Metropolitan Detroit area. There is no single prevention strategy that can end domestic violence, however Transition 123 has worked diligently for many years, offering supportive services to women ages 17-45+ and their children.
Dedicated to the empowerment and uplifting of women in our community for over 13 years. Our services were designed to give women, who have been homeless over 30 days, a place to start an overall transformation. We offer a variety of programs to help women evolve into the person she wants to be. Our intake process is based on one’s willingness to want a new beginning. Here at Transition 123 we understand the psychological behavior change that comes with this transition, so first we educate women on self-awareness and self-esteem. We educate them on the following:
- The benefits of being drug free
- The benefit of seeking higher education as a means of acquiring a more defined and refined life
- Proper Parenting Skills
- Spiritual Awarness through a life in Jesus Christ
- Personal finance
- Home Ownership
Clients who successfully complete our programs will ensure that their families, friends, associates, communities and society at large will be blessed to have known them.
